Paragraph "hook" a present participle
Note there are twenty-one apparent paragraphs in this section of Matthew. Have a look at the middle one which is number eleven.It is about a paralytic being brought to Jesus and he forgives him his sins.
Now look at the middle paragraph of Section A in the gospel of Mark. You can find it Here
It is about the same thing. Remember Matthew was following Mark's text closely.
Do you think he deliberately put the same incident in the middle of his Section C??
