The Gospel of Matthew 19:3-25:46

Have a look at paragraph twelve in which a rich man called Joseph of Arimathea "who was also a disciple." came forward and asked for the body of Jesus so he could bury him in his own new grave. He was not one of the twelve yet it was he that 'turned the table' of desertion. Then paragraph by paragraph we find the disciples rapidly reassemble and they take on the responsibility of putting up with criticism and 'discipling' others.
The community of Matthew are assured that they do have a future.
